TopBuilder award for the SKB STYROTERM top-mounted roller shutter system
The warmest system of top-mounted roller shutters on the market - Aluprof’s SKB STYROTERM, was awarded the TopBuilder 2020 prize in the category Product of the Year: novelty and innovation of the year. The jury appreciated the product for its innovation, excellent technical parameters and well thought-out, manufacturer-friendly design.
The SKB Styroterm top-mounted roller shutter system is a highly technologically advanced solution, which was developed with a view to improving the energy balance of the building. The main element of this product is the roller shutter box, which is made of a material specially designed at Aluprof’s request, characterized by very good thermal properties. Research at a renowned research institute IFT ROSENHEIM has shown that the proposed solution for the roller shutter box has an extremely high thermal transmittance coefficient Usb already from 0.29 W/(m²·K). Therefore, Styroterm has the best performance parameters among the top-mounted systems on the market.
TopBuilder is one of the most prestigious awards on the Polish construction market. The award for the highest quality products, novelties and innovations, including material, technological and construction solutions, for services and undertakings dedicated to the industry and for construction investments distinguished by high quality of designed architecture, in which modern solutions were applied. In this year's edition of the competition organized by the Builder Publishing House as many as 60 entities were awarded in three categories: novelties of the year, innovations and recommended products, verified on the market after years of operation. Among the distinguished ones were such brands as: Velux. Isover, Fakro, Braas, D+H, Kronospan and many others. It is worth mentioning that Aluprof also received the TopBuilder 2020 award for the segment-based wall system MB-SE80 MLT.
